I give this book two stars because I agree with the basic premise that people should embrace the present moment. The problem is that the author repeats this basic idea over and over. While certainly some repitition is justified in order to get the point across, the repetition here rises to absurd levels. Rating: - The ONE book I would want if on a deserted island!
I have been on my own conscious spiritual/metaphysical journey for over 16 years, and have read a plethora of books on these topics. Eckhart's book, "A New Earth" is my current all-time favorite. If I had to choose just one book to read while stranded on a desert island (something that sounds very attractive, actually), this would be the one.
