From the supplier: Accountants must ensure the security of their computer systems against internal or external threats such as sabotage from disgruntled employees, fraud, unintentional data errors, power failure, damage to computers and loss of information integrity through unauthorized alterations and modifications to data. An insurance coverage will help cover lost profits caused by some threats, but periodic internal audits and surprise inspections will reinforce the system. Security personnel must also be assigned to monitor computer system.
