Product Description:
"Never-before-published vampire stories by Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Kelley Armstrong, and many others. Suspenseful, surprising, sometimes dark, sometimes humorous-these all-new stories will ensure that readers never think of vampires (or birthdays) in quite the same way again. In New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris's ""Dracula Night,"" Sookie Stackhouse is the only human at the annual commemoration of Dracula's birth. But this year, the Prince of Darkness actually shows up-and finds Sookie to be a tasty-looking present. New York Times bestselling author Jim Butcher's crime-solving wizard Harry Dresden, of the Dresden Files novels, heads to a role-playing party to give his vampire brother a birthday present in ""It's My Birthday Too,"" only to discover there are some bloodthirsty party crashers who don't share their brotherly love. In ""Twilight,"" Cassandra DuCharme, who appeared in New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong's Dime Store Magic, knows she has to kill to live as a vampire another year - but finds herself disturbingly disinterested in the hunt. Plus ten more bloody good birthday stories that take the cake."

- Vampires, Witches, and Birthdays Oh myI must say that i did not think this compilation of short stories would be so great. However i really enjoyed it in its sinicism and I am really glad the book flowed smoothly
Rating:
- Great variety that leaves you wanting more!I have just completed the southern vampire series & can not get enough of Sookie Stackhouse- True Blood is nice to watch but the books have so much more detail & HBO has made alot of character changes, I went from those to the twilight series (also very enjoyable) and have only just begun to read many bloody returns so far...so good! They are great short stories that leave you wanting more. I can not wait until the 9th book in the Sookie series comes I have already pre ordered it!

- Another great Sookie StackhouseI think my 21 year old had read this 4 times already. Another fun book in the continuing saga of Sookie Stackhouse. Please keep them coming.

- OK, but nothing special in hereI was really looking forward to this anthology, mainly because of the sookie stackhouse story. Perhaps this is why i found myself disappointed. While each story was interesting in its own way, the whole thing felt repetative and a bit dull. I would recommend finding it at your local library.

- Vampires and birthdaysA collection of short stories by 13 authors featuring vampires and birthdays. The collection is not for everyone, but provides well written stories for people who like this genre of fiction. I had bought the collection earlier, but saved it for my birthday, which just started at midnight.
Like most collections, you will find a variety, and will find some stories that you will like better than others. I particularly liked "It's my birthday, too," by Jim Butcher which had its lighter ... Read More
