Rating:
- Very thorough
This book contains a detailed discussion of the essence of technical analysis--price movement and volume. Reversal and continuation patterns are thoroughly explained, including the logic behind the patterns (insider and public transactions). Trend lines, support and resistance, gaps, and the element of time are also discussed. The material is as relevant today as it was almost a hundred years ago. In addition to this book, the following books are also very insightful and well written--Tape Reading & Market Tactics (Humphrey B. Neill) and How I Made $2,000,000 in the Stock Market (Nicolas Darvas).
Rating:
- An Old TA Book
First of all, this book is not on technical analysis, it is on analysis of chart patterns. Today, technical analysis is more developed and detailed. It is hard to understand why someone wants to read this expensive old book rather than a newer well organized technical analysis book.
