I first read Judith Briles' Dollars & Sense of Divorce in the late 1980s. I was involved in a messy divorce and her down-to-earth descriptions of the human foibles and scenarios that play out in a divorce rang true. I found her funny, kind, and smart. The second section of the book provides financial advice to women on their own after the divorce. This was VERY helpful to me.
